Kings Beach
This lovely home was built right on the sand of Lake Tahoe. Kings Beach is in North Lake Tahoe and on the California side of the lake. The G.C. on this project was Structerra and they are one of a kind when it comes to building your dream home. Sandbox was the designer and Diaz Masonry laid the foundation and did all the exterior paver and stone work as well.
This project for us, was a winter build, we started the framing on this, in early December and by the end of February we had the roof dried in. this house was built on a tight lot, meaning we had no room to use a Skytrack on, so everything we built had to be hand stacked and lifted by hand as well.
The back deck overlooking the lake was a challenge for us due to the fact that the owners of this house wanted a stone paver deck. This was a first for us and it took us a bit longer than we expected to get this deck perfectly flat, but by the time we we're done, I was really proud of my crew because after the Masons installed the pavers, we installed a glass rail and this is on e of the most beautiful decks i have seen on the lake so far.
