The G.C. on this house was none other then Mark Tanner Construction Inc. M.T.C. is the leading custom home builder in the Lake Tahoe area. Sandbox was the designer on this house and the foundation and stone work was done by Diaz Masonry and the Roofs were installed by Summit Roofing, Reno Tahoe Steel fabricated and installed all the steel, the windows were made by Sierra Pacific Windows and installed by us.
We started framing this house the first week of October and on the first week of February we had the roof dried in. This house was a difficult build because of the design on the roof, it had several hips and valleys and winter hit us in the middle of the roof being built. Despite the winter, this was a fun project to do, it had some steel in it and it had plenty of exposed roof beams with overbuilds on them. The interior of the house had high ceilings and the fireplaces made this house the perfect mountain get away. The exterior of the house blends really well with the surrounding area and the Fascia and siding on this house was a certain barn wood that gave this house a beautiful exterior finish.
